James - William James, Philosopher, Psychologist - hydrocal with antique white finish

Did you know that William James is the only #philosopher mentioned in the AA Big Book, where his book, #TheVarietiesofReligiousExperience, is quoted. Check him out on Wikipedia.... but if you know him already and are a fan, this little bust would be a perfect gift to yourself, or the teacher who introduced him to you.

James marks the first in my series of contemporary philosophers and academic heros. Keynes is on the way, as well as Hayek, Menger and Jane Jacobs for my group of economists. I have yet to start Whitehead and Popper, but may opt for a few Enlightenment favorites, Spinoza and David Hume preceding Popper. These are all actually for book illustrations. Marcus Aurelius and Socrates already have found their place in my upcoming volume "Stupidity and the Sublime."

NOTE: James does not have his name anywhere visible on the statuette. It is written in pencil under the wooden base, should any of your friends pick it up to inspect and look for who it is. You, obviously could recognize the man anywhere, a his resemblance to my likeness is acute.
