George Orwell --bust of the author in high density plaster - faux bronze on raw wood

I just finished reading "Down and Out in Paris and London" and decided it's time to put this fellow into my catalog. Of course, we all read him in high school ---Animal Farm and 1984, and in my case the latter was still far into the future when I read it. Well, fifty years later, we're pretty close.

NOTE: there are other busts of George for sale by at least one other artist that are cheaper and frankly extremely well sculpged--- but look carefully at photos of him before jumping for the caricature with all that mop of hair. Mine looks like it is of an author the sculptor has spent time with. That's me and mine. This is a unique piece of art.
