I will admit to never being able to get through much of Joyce, but then, I must admit to reading very little pure literature per se, and have chosen those great writers that others have suggested I should do. James Joyce is, of course, undeniably foundational in the annals of 20th century literary culture. This bust will probably be a one-of-a-kind, as the mold did not come out well and much of the finishing was done in raw plaster. Also, it seems I forgot the ear-pieces of his glasses, for Joyce did not wear a pince-nez. The re-make may well have his iconographic eye-patch under the glasses.
