Friedrich Nietzsche - rough-cast metallic finish on timber

Many people have asked for Nietzsche, but I held off til I could get him right. Here is is seen as blind Tiresius. He is a hard guy to get right...maybe Walter Kaufmann is one of the few who got him right. Walter is a tough guy to get right as well. I knew Nietzsche's daughter, who was blind as well (from HIS syphilus). SHE never knew who her father was!!.... after she died her neighbor and caregiver on Arhusvej in Randers, DK read her birth certificate, signed with the well-known signature of FN, whose bust you can see here.

His head is ALMOST full size, but his mustache leaves something lacking of the hair he actually had at the time of his death....I wanted to sculpt his chin.
This bust is pretty much a one-of-a-kind so you had better buy it. The mold ripped apart when I took it off this piece, so he has to be remade and the new ones will be different.
