    This is the young fellow who wrote Leaves of Grass and not the famous Walt with the big beard that is on all the statues. That's why you want to have THIS on on your end-table for all to see. I actually sculpted it for another poet named Walt, who was my cousin before he died and still is my cousin though now long-gone. His widow Patti asked for it to be on his bookshelf, along with Leaves of Grass. He may or may not have a memorial inscription on the back of the base to Walter Christopher Stickney...which should make him worth more since Walt's poetry is worth it as well.
